Stahlwille double-ended Flexi-joint spanner wrench is made of chrome alloy steel, drop forged, hardened, and tempered to provide high torque and added leverage. It is polished with a chrome finish to protect against rust and corrosion and offers high hardness. It also has bi-hexagon that are forged to ensure toughness and thin-walled rings which facilitate work in confined spaces, the perfect hand tool for automotive repair and maintenance, machinery, etc. In addition, the rings are higher than standard nuts - which prevents the spanner from seizing on the nut. The Anti-Slip Drive profile enables high-force transmission without damaging the fasteners and it fits comfortably in the hand, even when used for long periods and even when higher forces are applied. While the force acts on the flats of the screws, the corners are left free and are not rounded off. Thanks to the forged bi-hexagon hex, they are tougher than any fastener. When force is applied to a spanner, the greatest force acts on the area between the jaw and the shank, which is why Stahlwille spanners are reinforced at this point. The special design makes the load zones more resilient, which reduces the risk of breakage to a minimum.
